Skopelos

Skopelos is an island of Greece that belongs to the archipelago of the Sporades, is considered the greenest island in the Aegean as 80% of its area is covered with dense forests. It has two mountains, Delphi (680 m. Height) and Palouki (565 m. Height) and wonderful green beaches.

The main cultural attractions of the island are its churches, monasteries and other monuments, mainly of the Byzantine period but also of the Venetian era. It is worth seeing the castle, but also Bourtzi, the old medieval town and the house of Papadiamantis.
